Rebeca Warmbo – Founder of Hands of Hope Prison Ministry ✝️🕊

Rebeca Warmbo is the passionate founder and leader of Hands of Hope Prison Ministry, a corporation dedicated to spreading hope, faith, and the love of Jesus to incarcerated individuals. A dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, Rebeca’s life is a powerful testimony of resilience, redemption, and unwavering faith.

Having overcome mental illness and addiction through her deep faith in Jesus, Rebeca has been actively involved in ministry work for years. She served on the Spanish radio station LA Picosa, where she prayed and prophesied over people, sharing God’s love and encouragement. Her heart for missionary work has led her to serve in the Twin Cities and live at Godtown in St. Paul, where she deepened her connection to faith and community.

Rebeca is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology while working toward becoming a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC). Her advocacy work for women in prison has been featured on Fox National News and Reduxx, and she is currently finishing a story for the Star Tribune about her ministry.

Having served a total of 14 years between jail and prison sentences, Rebeca now uses her experiences to inspire transformative change within the prison system. Her love for God has shown her that all people deserve another chance, and she’s committed to being a beacon of hope for the voiceless, spreading the message of redemption to those society often overlooks.

Aly McGee, MSW, LICSW – Mental Health Advisor for Hands of Hope Prison Ministry ✝️

🕊Aly McGee, MSW, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and a vital part of Hands of Hope Prison Ministry. Aly provides expert mental health support and guidance through her dedicated column in the ministry’s monthly prison newspaper, where she offers practical advice, emotional support, and resources to incarcerated individuals seeking healing and personal growth.Aly is the owner of River Counseling, a practice focused on providing compassionate mental health care to individuals navigating life’s challenges. She also runs the website DearAly where she offers advice and resources for emotional well-being, self-care, and personal development.With a deep commitment to restorative justice and faith-based healing, Aly’s work focuses on supporting the emotional well-being and rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals. Through her compassionate guidance, she helps people find hope, resilience, and transformation, both inside and outside of prison.

Angelina Omara – Inside Team Leader at Shakopee Women’s Prison ✝️

As an Inside Team Leader, she teaches classes, conducts interviews for testimonies, gathers feedback, and takes prayer requests, providing spiritual support to those seeking guidance and growth.Angelina is the author of the inspiring column “Angelina’s Angelic Thoughts,” where she shares heartfelt reflections on what God places on her heart. Benjamin ‘Heath’ Beck – Inside Team Leader at Hands of Hope Prison Ministry ✝️

Benjamin ‘Heath’ Beck serves as the Inside Team Leader for Hands of Hope Prison Ministry at Stillwater Men’s Prison. In his role, Heath conducts interviews with inmates, gathers personal pen pal ads, and collects submissions for the ministry’s newsletter, including poems and personal reflections. He is also responsible for reporting on prison politics, such as medical care, discipline, mail, and property issues, ensuring the ministry stays updated on the needs and concerns of those incarcerated.As an active leader, Heath plays a vital role in supporting the ministry’s mission of spreading hope, faith, and the love of Jesus to incarcerated individuals. Through his efforts, he helps foster a sense of community and spiritual connection among inmates, giving them the opportunity for personal growth and transformation. Heath is deeply committed to the principles of restorative justice, and his work at Stillwater Men’s Prison is integral to the continued success and impact of Hands of Hope Prison Ministry.
